is a 12-14 century town on the River Baise a small tributary
of the River Garonne.
It is set in an area full of history (supposedly,
Shakespeares Loves Labours Lost was set in Nerac Chateaux)
Condom and Agen are nearby large towns andVianne
is a lovely Bastide town close by. The area is famous for
its melons and plums,
and The Buzet wine from its many vineyards .

Travel : Within one and a half hours of Bordeaux, Bergerac,
Biarritz and Toulouse airports, and only half an hour from Agen
for regular flights from Paris.
Approximately 6 hours by road from the ports of St Malo and Caen
and approx 2 hours drive from the Spanish port of Bilbao.
About 70 miles South - East of Bordeaux, in the region Lot
et Garonne close to the border of Gers and Landes
Approx 10 miles from the entrance/exit to the A62 motorway
(Bordeaux to Toulouse).
One and a half hours drive to the Atlantic ocean.
Two and a half hours to the Mediterranean Sea (French Riviera).
Two hours to the ski resorts in the Pyrenees.
There are shops within a few minutes by car, a host of restaurants
to choose from and chateaux to visit.
